In this interview I speak with Prof. Helen Bond, of the University of Edinburg, one of the world's expert historians on the Roman-Jewish political and social world of Jesus. We highlight her upcoming lecture at the Sept 27-28th virtual conference, "New Investigations of the New Testament" that is now open for any of you to sign up for.

This conference, now in its third year, has been called the "Event of the Year," in terms of New Testament studies for the non-specialists. The theme is the "Historical Jesus," with TEN scholars (including yours truly) invited to share their latest cutting edge research.
