In this clip on the Book of Acts from my conversation with Steve Walton (Senior Research Fellow at Trinity College, Bristol), Steve suggests how the Greek text of Acts 2 and Acts 6 changes our understanding of early evangelism and leadership.
Steve explains how the grammar of Acts 2:46 shows that the first believers were eating both in homes and in the temple courts β suggesting that table fellowship itself became a setting for evangelism. He also shows how Acts 6 reveals a community-driven model of leadership, where the believers themselves commission the seven, not just the apostles.
