You Tube Theology

Motivations are difficult to understand. I suspect that we don't know why we do so much of what we do. But when we are in difficult situations, do we do things out of "respect" for our employer or out of a healthy "fear of the Lord"? I believe Peter says the later.

Slight correction: in the video I say the same word is in both 1 Peter 2:17 and 2:18. Actually, they are cognates. The verb "to fear" (φοβέομαι) is in v 17 and its cognate noun φόβος is in v 18. But the point I make is the same.
