I first met Dr. McKnight two decades ago shortly after reading his book "Jesus Creed." I was filling in at a church and he was there doing a series of talks over a few weeks. We struck up what I'd call a "strong acquaintance" that has lasted til today. I don't get to engage him often, but he is still as generous with his time, energy, and thought as he was the first day I met him so long ago.

I had notes and questions to ask and I didn't ask him any of them! It was a great conversation!
