On Tuesday, February 17, 2026, Dr. Beth Allison Barr, The James Vardaman Endowed Professor of History, and Dr. Todd Still, the Charles J. and Eleanor McLerran DeLancey Dean and Holder of the William M. Hinson Chair of Christian Scriptures, engaged in a public conversation of Dr. Barr's 2025 Brazos Press publication, "Becoming the Pastor's Wife: How Marriage Replaced Ordination as a Woman’s Path to Ministry" on the campus of Baylor University in the Schumacher Flex Commons of Moody Memorial Library. The session was part of the Readers Meet the Author series which is presented by the the Office of the President and Office of the Provost and hosted by the Baylor Libraries.
