YouTube description

In this episode Dr Clark answers eight emails from listeners on where the New Testament repeats the promise, “I will be their God and they will be my people;” Luther’s view of the book of James; what books to use to learn the biblical languages; how to think and talk about Christ’s two natures; the confessional Reformed view of homosexuality; biblical proof texts in the Heidelberg Catechism; Arminianism; and the 1974 Lausanne Covenant. For more on these topics see the resources below. In the second half of the show Dr Clark turns to the third petition of the Lord’s Prayer: “Your will be done on earth as it is in heaven.” This petition touches (again) on eschatology but also on our disposition and to understand what is meant he looks at our Lord’s Prayer in the Garden of Gethsemane (e.g., Matt 26:26–36). There we see our Savior, as we confess him, true man and true God, genuinely agonizing in prayer. He considers a number of other passages too.
