Seeking confidence that the Bible is God's Word, this is exactly what many Christians do. They seek for assurance through a mystical experience—a voice in their heads—which is not how the Spirit opens eyes to trust in Scripture.
When the Spirit opens eyes, he does not speak to us of the Word, but by the Word. He adds no new voice to Scripture, but enables us to recognize the divine voice that is there.
So instead of giving us some extra proof that scripture is divine, he removes our natural blindness to see what was always there in the Bible for anyone who had eyes to see it. He simply enables us to perceive the light that is shining. And that way, we find ourselves trusting not an experience, but the glorious God we now discern in his word.
