The speaker was Donald Macleod who was professor of systematic theology at the Free Church College - now Edinburgh Theological Seminary (ETS).
The lecture was the first lecture at Falkirk Free Church. There had been previous lectures at St. Vincent Street Free Church and at Smithton Culloden Free Church but none of those dealt with justification.
