We're made in the image of God. You've probably heard this, but what does it mean? In this video, Prof. N.T. Wright explains how ancient context can help answer this question.
Images, in ancient societies, served as vehicles to transmit the control of the god they represented into society, and to send the community's worship back to the god. For Christians, we can understand "the image" as a kind of “angled mirror” between the world and God, reflecting each to the other.
