God and Gaia, interesting Talk in Bali with Prof. Michael Northcott of Edinburgh University. On February 26, 2022 I had a chance to know and talk with Prof. Michael Northcott from University of Edinburgh, Scotland. Prof. Michael is writing a book on God and Gaia. As he explains, Gaia is a scientific term (derived from Greek Goddess of Earth Gaia) used by James Lovelock in his book. It says that the earth is alive because of the structure of life force that keeps the earth in equilibrium. In religion such force is believed to come from God.
