Professor Alec Ryrie, Professor of the History of Christianity at Durham, specialising in the history of the Reformation and of Protestantism more widely, gave the URC History Annual Lecture on the first era of Presbyetrian missions, 1740-1770. The session was chaired by the Revd Dr Kirsty Thorpe, President of the Society.
