Paul Fiddes holds the distinguished position of Professor of Systematic Theology in the
University of Oxford. He was awarded the degree of Doctor of Divinity (DD) in the University of Oxford for his published work in 2005. He was granted an honorary doctorate of the
University of Bucharest for theological work in Eastern Europe.
An outstanding communicator, Professor Fiddes is an ordained minister of the Baptist Union of Great Britain and has served as the chair of the Doctrine Commission of the Baptist World Alliance. Professor Fiddes is the author or editor of more than 20 books and the author of more than 110 articles and book chapters.
