Creed, Confession, Community - on the Occasion of the 1700th Anniversary of the Council of Nicaea, organised by the Baptist College, University of Bucharest
In 2025, we mark 1700 years since the historic Council of Nicaea (325 AD), a foundational moment for Christian theology, unity, and identity. The Baptist College within the University of Bucharest invited theologians, historians, students, and church leaders to reflect on the enduring legacy of this council through the lenses of creed, confession, and community.
This international conference explored the significance of the Nicene Creed in shaping Christian theology, the role of confessions in different ecclesial traditions, and the theological and social dimensions of Christian community throughout history and today. Join us as we engage in meaningful dialogue, academic presentations that honour the past and envision the future.
