An excerpt from a lecture on Dominican spirituality by Fr. Romanus Cessario, O.P. given at the Dominican House of Studies, Washington, D.C. Fr. Cessario is a theologian and a Dominican friar of the Eastern Province, currently teaching at St. John's Seminary in Boston. A printed version of the complete talk can be found in the volume in honor of Father Matthew Lamb entitled Wisdom and Holiness: Science and Scholarship (2007). Fr. Cessario's contribution to that volume can be found on pp. 17-45. The last half of his article is on Dominican Spirituality.
