A Call to Doctoral Research | Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer

"Think vocation, not career." Dr. Kevin Vanhoozer, Director of Postgraduate Research at The Alexandrian Institute, invites aspiring doctoral scholars to consider PhD research not as a career move, but as a calling — to do excellent theological work with Scripture for the edification of the church.

The TAI PhD Program is a British-style, research-only doctorate in partnership with Union Theological College (UTC), Belfast. Students receive personal supervision from the TAI Research Fellowship — led by Dr. Vanhoozer — working toward an original contribution to theological scholarship in one of our core research areas: Biblical Studies, Christian Dogmatics, Historical Theology, Theological Ethics, and Cultural Engagement.
