Will the world be renewed or destroyed at judgment? (2 Peter 3:9–10)

If the world is going to be renewed after judgment, then sin will be removed and I would guess the Earth would be much like it is today. The Himalayas would still be tall and New Zealand will still be there. But if the world is going to be destroyed after judgment, I wonder what the world will look like? Will the Himalayas be there? Will New Zealand still look like it does in Lord of the Rings. It's an interesting question. Check out my blog, at BillMounce.com.
