The Lord’s Prayer is introduced in Anglican liturgy with some traditional words "Let us pray with confidence as our Saviour has taught us" or "As our Saviour Christ hath commanded and taught us, we are bold to say". What is meant by this idea of confidence or boldness and where did these phrases come from?
