Racial Justice: Is Christianity a Help or Hindrance? On Thursday, March 7 over a thousand people filled Memorial Hall on campus for the UNC-Chapel Hill Veritas Forum featuring Lecrae and New Testament scholar Dr. Esau McCaulley. The evening's theme? 'Racial Justice: Is Christianity a Help or Hindrance?' After a dinner with student leaders from various campus ministries, Lecrae and Dr. McCaulley (14:53) addressed an audience full of students, faculty, and community members. UNC junior Hanna Watson kicked off the event with a recitation of her beautiful spoken word, 'Hagar's Poem.' Susan King, dean of the UNC School of Media and Journalism, served as moderator (30:31).
