Why should you attend TTC? Feat. Stephen Wellum | Thinking Theologically Conference [TTC 2015]

Organised by the Gospel Growth Fellowship annually, The Thinking Theologically Conference (TTC) is an acknowledgement of the importance of sound theology in the life of Christ's church. Every Christian must think theologically in order to minister faithfully is our philosophy for TTC.

God "has granted the Son also to have life in himself. And he has given him authority to execute judgment, because he is the Son of Man." (Joh 5:26-27 ESV)

The Uniqueness of Christ. It's probably not an exaggeration to say that this is one of the most important topics a Christian should wrestle with. Of course, every doctrine is important. But here's one that will really impact everything.

Just think about it:

All of the Bible, is ultimately about Jesus.

All of God's promises, His Kingdom, God's supreme self-revelation, humanity's representative as the Second Adam, salvation, spiritual blessings, even Election, that biblical doctrine which so many Christians find offensive (!) is unavoidably connected to Christ and His unique role in Creation: "we were chosen in Him before the foundation of the world" Eph 1.4.

His entire work of atonement would have no efficacy if not for who He is in relation to us, and in relation to God. There would be no way for us, if Christ has been any other way. Being united with this Christ means everything.

This year, the Thinking Theologically Conference focuses on The Uniqueness of Christ. Surely all those who seek to serve God faithfully must come to learn and love this truth.
